I have always been a songwriter who draws from personal experience for inspiration. I want my listeners to find themselves in my music. By sharing my journey through song, it opens the door for us to connect.
As I thought about the songs on this new album, they seemed to be telling the story of our thrills and ills in life – the long search for true love, then the thrill of finding it. Feeling pain so deep that it just hurts inside and then being ready to welcome the light when we have worked through the pain. Or just those moments spent searching for quiet memories to cherish.
